CAT Walks are organised by Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tigers (MYCAT) and partially sponsored by Cicada Tree Eco-Place.
Cicada Tree Eco-Place is a non-profit NGO which promotes nature, culture and eco-living through environmental education.
Founded in Singapore in 2007 by volunteer educators & environmentalists, our organisation is named after a native freshwater swamp plant called Ploiarium alternifolium (cicada tree or riang riang) whose habitat is locally endangered.
Our organization aims to:
• promote local and regional flora & fauna; and
• provide affordable and quality environmental education for all;
• demonstrate and encourage adoption of an eco-lifestyle by individuals and organisations
